and how’s it going with you all of late? That’s great now shut up and read. I really haven’t been up to a whole hell of a lot recently, same as usual. Played the hell outa some Rock Band, watched some movies, mainly Caddyshack. The main thing that happened this week was Football Camp. A bunch of recon from last year and running. Well this year came around and I wasn’t exactly feeling up to par. In fact, I was so far off par that I was in the hospital. Granted, it was only for a day, but it still sucked. I had what they call cluster headaches, which is a bunch of little ones that hurt like shit in a row. Painkiller doesn’t work because it only treated one headache, and it also made me nautious. They gave me something called Imatrex, and that shite worked swimmingly. They said the headaches were probably caused from a bit of dehydration, which was probably caused by a bunch of diahrrea, pardon the possible spelling error. Either way the doctor told me to sit out for a week. Oh darn. No running, jumping, or any physical activity. So what they were telling me was to be myself. So I did.
This weekend seems to be a loaded one for somebody just recovering from all that mentioned above. Saturday I’m going to a mud volleyball party for a while, and then Sunday (barring any setbacks) I’ll be headed to World’s of Fun. I’m pretty stoked. That’s all I really have to write about that.
In my musical news, I’ve been listening to a little group you may have heard of. ‘Should have heard of’ is actually what I should say. The Who are a really amazing band that have a top 5 in everything. Drummer Keith Moon, although dead now, is easily in the top two, the other being the drummer from Rush. Roger Dahltrey is a really good vocalist. Peter Townshend is just a really fun guitarist. John Entwhistle, also deceased, is a crazy bassist. He plays that thing like another lead. If you haven’t checked these guys out, go do it now. After you finish up here of course.
Actually that about does it for me. Until next time America. Take it easy.

Ahh…a tribute to the late great George Harrison. When you get the combination of Tom Petty on vocals and acoustic (a big fan of which is typing this now) and also Jeff Lynne playing one of the best Beatles songs, it is good as it is. But then you add the awesomeness on the guitar that is Prince and you have one of the best tribute songs of all time. Prince totally shreds the solo. One of the best guitarists of all time playing an awesome song with some very capable backup and vocals. Watch, listen, and enjoy.

down memory lane. We’re going old school. I have recently started listening to some of The Beatles’ music. I’ve always had the notion that they were just overrated. However I was pleasantly suprsied to find that i was wrong. They are actually pretty good. My personal favorite is ‘Twist and Shout’. I like the way they all just flow with each other. They were the perfect group for the 60s, there is no doubt about it. However, they are still very much awesome in comparison with today’s excuse for music. It’s too bad that only McCartney and Ringo Starr are still alive, because I would have loved to see them get back together for one last run at it. Here’s to you McCartney, Starr, Harrison, and of course Lennon.
